  It is only in Ghana that unions go on strike and still get paid. Elsewhere, when you strike, your union takes care of you. Until the unions are made resposible, these strikes will continue to be common and entertainment. The laws must be ammended so that unions can go on strike for as long as they wish, but no body will be obliged to pay them while they are jama.

In addition to these salaries, they pay very little campus accommodation too. It’s time , government stand up to these unions bullies . Don’t politicise this strike.
