This a person who is said to be a lawyer yet, he publicly recommended that the OSP failed to rally a lynch mob to apprehend the fugitive Ken Ofori Atta when he was in the process of running away from the law. Because of this and other petty, childish and plain stupid personal assertions, he thinks that the OSP should be fired. It's worrying how the outspoken lawyer Kpebu addresses pertinent issues arising in Ghana. He's not alone, there are many politicians and lawyers, who keep repeating the same mistakes. The unfortunate thing among the so-called "elites" of Africa, not to mince words, is that they learn Western theories and concepts without adapting them to the African context. Mr. Kpebu, and others, could you just reflect on "who we are as Africans and Ghanaians"? Without this reflection our idea of "democracy" is a mirage! We swallow theories and concepts from other cultures without even understanding these cultures, left alone, the African cultures so we end up messing up our own cultural identity as Ghanaians and Africans. This is the biggest paradox of African intellectualism. Let's furst understand who we are, and then so that we can meaningfully adapt foreign concepts and theories to enrich our development and system of governance. Peace!

I was then a junior in the senior rank. The court seeing that a junior officer in the senior rank was send to it and not one with a rank higher than me, would have refused to listen to me.
It was a pride that goes to the department I was then serving that when the council for the defence told the court that I have concluded the witness statement, the two judges told me to continue since they were learning from me.
So what Martin Kpebu said is an insult to Nana Yaa Jantuah, he must go, kneel before her and render an apology.
