The courts in the country are there for you to seek justice, so it is. not within your rights to dictate to the court as to how and when your case need to be called. this is purely laziness
if a client approach you for your service , get all the materials , information and etc you may need within a month then inform your client either you could handle the case or you can not do it.
if you think you don't have time to represent the client anytime anyway the case may be called please better ask the client to find somebody else.
Onething this GBA must understand is that
The Court is like a moving truck or train, it is heading to Nsawam Prisons , your duty as a lawyer is to get onboard and take out your client when the train or the truck stops. , you as a lawyer has no authority to ask the train to stop and wait for you because you want to go and have sex with your sidechick in the moon.
if you don't come to defend your client , the court must proceed the trial.
I want the CJ to initiate a judicial process where a lawyer who want to use a delay tactics to slowdown the court process could be sanctioned with hefty monetary penalties.
That no case must be allowed to travel for more than 7months.
if you are not ready as a lawyer to defend your client withdraw your service period
