Watch as mother goes berserk in TV studio after 'borga' allegedly failed to marry daughter

Intense drama unfolded in the studio of Lawson TV after a mother and her daughter publicly expressed outrage over failure of a France‑based ‘borga’ to honour a marriage proposal.

According to the video circulating on X on August 18, 2026, the man, identified as the daughter’s boyfriend, allegedly pressured her to repeatedly send explicit videos during their relationship, promising marriage in return.

Unfortunately, the man who had reportedly been in a relationship with the daughter for months failed to honour his promise on his return to the country.

“The man in question reportedly offered to compensate her with GH¢20,000, a move the mother-daughter duo made clear was not acceptable,” a portion of the caption that accompanied the video stated.

Staff of the station present at the time could be heard pleading with the visibly agitated woman to calm down while her daughter wailed loudly in the background.

The video further captured a highly emotional scene in the studio, with both women dressed in black and red outfits.

“Mama, please have patience,” a staff could be heard calming the woman down while she struggled to break free from the grips of staff who tried to restrain her.

The incident comes at a time when romance fraud and leaked intimate videos have become rife in the country.
