it all started few years ago when i received a facebook message that a travel agency in Nigeria was recruiting Ghanaians and Nigerians for jobs in Canada, i sold everything i had and borrowed money from a lot of people and kept sending money to them for the travel to Canada, when i ran out of money to send to them, they invited me to Nigeria that my visa is ready, when i got to Nigeria they seized all the money i had on me and seized my phone and refused to give me my passport i posted to them earlier from Ghana, i was left stranded and resorted to sleeping under a bridge with some homeless people and was begging people during the day for help to go back to Ghana, police raided the place i was squatting after some days and arrested everybody there, they took us to court because hard drugs were found on some prostitutes and thugs squatting there, i was sentenced to 2 years in prison because i had no lawyer to defend me, i will finish serving my sentence in 3 months time and sent back to Ghana, my fellow Ghanaians please i need help of any amount of money so i can eat and treat myself, i have been sick and i have not eaten good food for sometime now, i don't want to die now my freedom is near, no amount of money is too small to help me with, i will appreciate any amount of money sent to me and God will bless and reward the sender abundantly, i can work for the sender when i return to Ghana in 3 months time to pay back, we manage to use smuggled phones here to beg people through facebook and other social media platforms, this is how most prisoners here survive because we are very desperate, the situation here is so terrible, horrible and pathetic, infact we are in hellfire here, people die everyday here from starvation and minor illnesses like malaria and ulcer, please i need help urgently, i need to eat good food and buy malaria drugs to treat myself, the food they serve us here is small portions of watery beans and jollof rice that can't satisfy a child, when an inmate is sick here and doesn't have money to buy drugs, the prison warders will ignore you until you die or recover without taken drugs, they may only give you paracetamol and antibiotics if you cry too much, but if you have money, the prison warders can buy for you good food and drugs from outside, i can be reached on WhatsApp via +2348140725576, this is my cellmate's number, some warders smuggle in phone for people here if you bribe them, i don't have a phone, when you chat, tell her you want to chat with Sandra so she can give the phone to me, please help make my story go viral so i can get help by posting my story and my cellmate's WhatsApp number: +2348140725576 on facebook and WhatsApp groups, please i need help, i'm suffering a lot here.

You and the man who did the slapping are all NDC members/supporters and you did this to smear Bawumia who is a Muslim, and a leader of opposition NPP to look bad in the eyes of Ghanaians.

Ghana is one of the few countries where the two religions have lived together without any confrontations and since Bawumia was chosen to lead NPP, John Mahama and NDC are now coming out with some tactics to put wedge between the two religious bodies in Ghana due to politics.

If Bawumia was not selected to lead NPP, NDC would be playing the tribal song telling Bawumia that he was not chosen because no Northerner can lead NPP so, this slap that happened at the Police Headquarters was nothing more than something that was stagged due to our dirty politics.

Yes I support the pastor's stance; he should be monetarily compensated while the Ghana Police Service training manual is updated to include the importance and a duty of policemen to protect anyone who is under their care at all material time.

Once a person is not free to move or exercise their rights, such as freedom of movement or speech and are under police service personnel constraint the person is officially arrested whether in handcuffs or not. The police, failed miserably, when they let their guard down inside a police station that enabled a civilian to get close to a suspect in their custody.

Additionally, the case should be a study case on why police buildings should be highly secured. I believe a perimeter of 100 meters should be set for the public restricting loitering of people who do not have scheduled visit with officers. I have always worried about security at police facilities because of the political nornalization of having throngs of unregulated people march unto precinct compounds because some politician or political party leaders say so.

When the NDC was in opposition, it strongly criticised the use of state funds for the construction of the National Cathedral. The project was heavily criticised until it came to a halt, and the Cathedral was subsequently mocked by some of its critics.

Today, the same NDC government is using state funds to establish Muslim banking system in Ghana and supporting the construction of a Hajj Village on state-owned land, while there are plans to pursue pastors over issues relating to the same National Cathedral project.

This situation raises genuine concerns about consistency and fairness. It is therefore my humble view that a cold relationship may be developing between sections of Ghana's Christian leadership and the NDC government, and I sincerely hope this does not deepen into unnecessary religious or political tensions.

I am a christain but not a member of any church because of those so called scams and monetisation of the churches these days to make the leaders rich to the point of looking down on the people who contribute to make them rich. The police had a duty to protect you whilst in their custody. I will ask that if you see it fit to demand an apology from the police, l think ypu should also apologise to the muslim community too. The pastor did not say that he wants to be compensated by the moslem cleric who slapped him.They all hugged each other and that settles it.His issue is with the police who failed in their statutory duty to protect him whilst in handcuffs and in their custody.In the video,he was surrounded by about 3 Muslim men when one of them slapped him whilst being interrogated by them right in front of the police! Imagine that for a second! A religious fanatic could have even stabbed him or shot him dead at close range right at the National Police HQ! And he would have died for nothing.Meanwhile,no one is asking of what happened to the cleric who did the slapping and who was later supposedly seen in handcuffs at the station.Was it even the real guy? And what of the other moslem man who threatened to behead Christians that triggered the pastor's response? I suppose the police only gave him a warm handshake and a pat on the back! Could what occurred at the nation's police headquarters happen in any majority moslem country and Christians would not have been lynched? So,am I saying that Christians should go after our moslem brothers because of just a slap? No! No! All I am saying is that the police is sending the wrong signals to the wrong people.That those religious fanatics can get away with any thing in a docile so-called Christian country called Ghana! The police must apologise to the man and they should update Ghana on the cases of the two moslems involved in this fracas!
