If the Driver really slapped a uniformed Police Officer in public and was arrested and taken to the Police Station, then he is in for trouble. I have lived at a big Police Barracks and know what the Police can do to him. I tell you that multiple slaps at the cheek and face are not enough. He shall be handcuffed to a Pole at the Police Station and the proper beating will start. If the family of the Driver doesn't pull up the big Political Strings to get a senior Police, Political figure or a senior Military Officer to go and get him out of the Police station, the assaulting Driver will be terribly be beaten to shreds by the Police.
The Police can also lock the offender into the Police Cell and pay the inmates already there to discipline him. That is worse. The senior inmates can even be asked to rape and torture the assaulting Driver
Hmmm. The family of the Driver need to hurry up and get some BIG MEN to take the Driver out of the Barracks before he is torn into tatters.

If he refuses or delays, then the Police calls for a back up while the Officer starts a Physical attack and arrest. If the offender resists and attacks the Officer, then it means the Police will use every force available, including the Gun and Pepper Spray.
