The US will never apologize to anyone for its misdeeds, because it isn't in their DNA or makeup to apologize for anything. The US has never apologized to Native Americans for taking their lands and maltreating them, they've never apologized to the Japanese-Americans who during World War II were removed from their homes and sent to internment camps and they sure wouldn't be apologizing for slavery.
