This Paramount Chief who declares himself as the King of Ghana and sometimes of Africa is a hoax. No Paramount area in Ghana sees him as their King. Even the various Amantour States of Asanteman don't see him as their King but the Paramount Chief of Kumasi. He is respected in Ghana but some Asanteman Paramount areas like New Juaben Traditional Area don't take instructions from him but from the Paramount Chief of New Juaben Traditional Area. The Akyem, Nzema, Fante, Akwapem, and Juaben don't take direct instructions from the Asantehene but from their Paramount Chiefs. Let the Asantehene know his Traditional limits. When the Asantehemaa died, the Asantehene ordered that Schools should be closed down and markets and stores should not be opened for a period of time. He ordered people in Asanteman to walk barefooted and wear only Black or Red clothing. The people of Koforidua ignored that directive and they were not enforced because it didn't come from their Paramount Chief. Asantehene should know his limits in the Constitution of Ghana. He is subservient to the Constitution and Government of Ghana.
