Captain Smart is a Ghanaian journalist cum politician
National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary aspirant for Gomoa West, Blessed Godsbrain Smart, popularly known as Captain Smart, has promised to construct three mini stadia in the constituency if elected as Member of Parliament.
Speaking to chiefs and elders at Gomoa Koforidua, Captain Smart said each proposed facility would seat about 2,000 people, outlining the scale of the project.
He said the initiative aims to improve sports infrastructure and create better opportunities for young people in the constituency.
"I will build three mini stadia with a seating capacity of 2,000," Captain Smart stated.
He further disclosed that a person supporting the project had already visited the proposed sites to inspect the locations and assess the project's feasibility.
"The person supposed to work on the stadium has been to the stadium to inspect the place," he added.
Captain Smart said the construction of the three mini stadia would form part of his development agenda for Gomoa West, should he be given the mandate to represent the constituency in Parliament, reinforcing the promise as a key pledge.
