This is how some good intentions by our governments die, because someone want to reap where he has not planted, moreover tilled.
Most state companies that were setup to provide that country rain,when it's dry are rather destroyed by people like Afenyo-Markin.
I relate some ot the nonperforming of some state companies to a weak security system, because there was no one their to unearth stealing and other nefarious activities going on there.
I once went on an inspection and found out that a man who was send by some people to take over managing director position of a state bank and cripple it, was appointed a managing director of another state bank after he succeeded crippling the the first one.
I also observed that a person was employed at the former State Food Distribution Corporation just to cripple it.
I saw it as both an inadequate investigation of those who were given the task to find a proper person to run the bank and company.
Or those who interviewed the person and gave him the job were part of the gang of state rackers.
I always make suggestions at the how to catch evil men and how to make institutions that are set up to make profit make it.
My problem is that currently with the price of maize low, yet those who prepare and sell kenkey still make kenkey balls as in 2034.
I once saw state kenkey factory at Abokobi. Why not revamp it, employ people to run it or give it to an individual with imported corn that will make the size of kenkey bigger and be sold to workers. The same will apply to fish and other things that are to be used to make kenkey get into the stomach of people.
Such a venture will as well be of great service to the poor in the cities.
That reminds me ot the Worker's Brigade kenky factory, which I think was at the same Abokobi.
