  Look at how they are harvesting the rice in this modern time. With this system of production are we surprised that we can not produce enough to feed ourselves let alone export the excess to generate foreign exchange.

  This situation calls for all these talking heads’ on radio and tv to come out and expose the inefficient agric ministry. The minister for agriculture must be sacked for not being able to effectively manage produce of Ghanaian farmer producing rice, eggs, etc. Lack of Storage facilities is a known issue for farmers, so why hasn’t the minister and his deputy been able to fix this storage problem? We see lots of grain silos in some regions rusting. You see how the farmers are harvesting rice with their hands? Which serious country can depend on this kind of farming. Mr. President please open your eyes. Who has oversight responsibility at the presidency for agriculture? Ok, Parliament…. But they don’t care because they rather import rice and vegetables. This is nauseating!!!!
