The unsightly and continuing raving and ranting by Afenyo Markin can only be attributed to either the weakness or the tolerance of both the NDC Party and govt. Afenyo actually comports himself in the political domain as an untouchable and unruly anarchist. He therefore thinks he can browbeat and shout down into submission, anybody who stands in his way.

He even continues to sink as low as to verbally attack and threaten Parliamentary staff for doing their job to bring calm at the sittings, Afenyo thinks that they are an impediment to his inconsolable and unparliamentary vulgar ranting.

Watching Afenyo Markin on TV "doing his thing" yesterday, was like watching an irate Agbogbloshie market truck-pusher sorting it out with another road-user for getting in his way. The man has become so predictably notorious that his presence or voice in any gathering causes considerable apprehension and discomfort.

By his intemperate crass behaviour, Afenyo Markin has single-handedly brought down the image of Parliament so low that, one wonders how they can ever recover any modicum of respectability much more, prestige from the public.

If he doesn’t want Bernard to rule then why did Alex seek permission from him as chairman before raising his queries? . NDC have made big mistake in parliament about their leadership team now. None of them is orally good on his feet though very intelligent guys in there. Bernard, James, Kweku, and Etse. They will soon change leadership in parliament again, maybe Etse as he is orally better on his feet within that team currently. James would have been better suited if NDC were in opposition and learn fast on his feet within.

Kofi, in high, intellectual, elite and civilized society such as any Parliament would desire to be recognized as, screaming at the top of one's lungs, glaring with malice at and wildly gesticulating like a quarelling fishmonger at persons who one is addressing is considered to be grossly uncultured and uncivilized behaviour.

However, in the Parliament of Ghana, where one would expect that the highest principles of social etiquette and international diplomatic decorum would be religiously observed as authentic evidence of higher learning and breed, they continue to tickle themselves with grandiose titles such as "my respectable colleague" and "Honorable" this and that, whilst simultaneously and persistently showing utter disregard and contempt for such noble ideals.

We the hapless public have witnessed with our own eyes, scenes of unbelievable hooliganism where some members of the august house went rogue and resorted to insulting themselves, smashing up furniture and electronic equipment and bringing proceedings to an abrupt end.

Not only does all this cast a sad reflection on politics in this country but worse-still, it presents an image of a failed state.

To save the ship of state from sinking any further, the entire establishment of the Parliament of Ghana, needs to be institutionally and administratively renovated and its procedures tightened to dredge the scum out of the place. Short of that, this country will not know any peace nor the rapidly needed meaningful progress that suffering majority of people in this country crave for.

Dafeamekpor is an astute lawyer who has proven himself to get where he is. You were mates, studied together and besides you were called before him more so your law is unsoiled, and so what? What a braggart.
Why would you say what you have said in a parliamentary hearing which is televised to the full view of the nation and for that matter the world? There might be something wrong somewhere with you!! Are you in parliament compare apples and oranges hence who was called to the bar before who?

Mr Dafeamekpor is practically doing what is needful for his party in parliament and is doing perfectly well.
