There is zero constitutional review.

As long as the government has refused to accept the CRC recommendation to decouple parliament from the executive/ presidency and the refusal of the John Mahama government to allow citizens to directly elect their own choice of who will be chief executives to run the affairs of the municipal and district assemblies without any interference from the president means there is no review.

All the rest of those so called amendments accepted by the government are just a sham. The real review have been swept under the carpet.

The opposition must get ready for a serious BIG NO VOTE.

United States since independence in 1776, had maintained 4 year term to date. To emerge the most developed and powerful on the globe. If the chosen leader becomes a tyrant, authoritarian, recalcitrant, corruptible or simply engage in vices, then where would the nation maintain a breathing space?
Not to mention the recent disgraceful Parliament so called couple. Betraying the constituency. Instead of canvassing for development bride......... If this example is to continue for 5 years imagine how the constituency would suffer in a single being’s hand. Ghanaian leaders come to do nothing. The main reason why NPP Supporters refuse to vote when a chosen leader had failed without justification.
A nation blessed with every mineral, cocoa, timber etc. Hard working farmers; great artisans; Ghanaian Professors are everywhere in the world Doctors etc uncountable . Yet the leaders fail.
European Countries maintain 4 year term. Leaders come to instigate fundamental growth. Even railway commons in oversees Ghana can not afford.
FIVE YEARS FOR WHAT?
Imagine a single line from Tema to Takoradi. Then from Accra to Tamale via Sunyani that being effective 24 Hour Economy consider jobs and taxes that would fetch. Instead what is the process now. Even the current 4 year term is too much.
