Watch as Akufo-Addo plays 'Father of Bride' at wedding of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star

Former President, Nana Akufo-Addo, was the talk of town after he showed up as the father of the bride at the traditional wedding of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Bozoma Saint John and her partner Keely Watson.

Akufo-Addo hosted the nuptials at his private residence in Accra and stepped in to play the father of the bride for Bozoma, whose father was unable to travel for the occasion.

Amid the various videos and pictures from the event, one trending video showed the former president posing for a picture with the newly wedded couple together with former First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo.

Akufo-Addo donned a vibrant blue, patterned Kente cloth wrapped in the traditional Akan royal style, paired with native sandals while Bozoma Saint John and Keely Watson donned multi-colored Akan regalia with gold pieces.

Former First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo also joined the couple in an elegant gold-and-pink lace traditional dress, completing the presidential portrait.

The traditional Akan union formed part of an elaborate multi-day wedding extravaganza in Accra that hosted nearly 1,000 guests, with Ghanaian political leaders, Hollywood stars, and Afrobeats icons attending.

Attendees included RHOBH stars Kyle Richards, Dorit Kemsley, Sutton Stracke, Kathy Hilton, and Jennifer Tilly, alongside supermodel Ashley Graham and music stars Tiwa Savage, KiDi, Efya Nokturnal, and King Promise.

The Accra nuptials mark the first of two planned celebrations for the couple, who are scheduled to hold a second, Western-style ceremony in Los Angeles this November.
