They are partly responsible for the spreading and spanning and sprawling and spawning zongos and ghettos. The aboboyaa and pragya taxicle riders should be next, as well as the Okada riders. The menace they cause on our roads is deadly.

This is just a camouflage for the interior ministry to deceive the citizenry that it is working. By cursory look, over 40% of people you meet in Ghana today are illegal aliens. The seriousness of this report is that almost 63% of those arrested are children. The danger is that these children are not attending school and are not learning any trade. What work would they do if they remain here in the next 10 to 15 years? These 'innocent' children we everyday see on our streets are like the cubs of the lion brought home to feed, they would one day grow to devour us.

About a week ago our Interior Minister was talking about these illegal aliens and the ECOWAS protocol of free movement of their citizens. I was wondering if he didn't know that most of these undocumented immigrants from the Sahel are from countries which are currently not members of the ECOWAS! If we don't decisively deal with this influx of these undocumented immigrants, one day one day........
