Kudos to the Interior Minister for showing that joining the security services does not come with a “rules don’t apply to me” clause. If recruits can hide phones after being ordered to surrender them, what happens when the orders concern something far more serious?
Ten dismissed today may save the service bigger headaches tomorrow. Discipline is not oppression; it is the foundation of security. Apparently, some recruits needed that lesson before earning the uniform
