There is too much foolishness and stupidity that goes on in Ghana. Who is the enemy of Gomoa? The people are their own enemies. Which people are attacking and destroying their own properties? Which people are killing which people. Has the Government sent any people there to be Armed Land guards? The people of Gomoa are creating problems for themselves and blaming the Government of John Mahama.
I believe and support the believe that such nonsense and disturbances should be met with absolute force. Such nonsense and destructions could not have taken place at the time of the AFRC Regime of Efo Julor John Rawlings the Murderer. He would have used total Military Force to stop this nonsense. Democracy, some people think is good but not for the Africans. Look at what is going on in Sudan and the Magreb.
Mahama is already a Lame Duck President. Let him declare a State of Emergency and deploy a squadron of the Military to compliment the activities of the Police there, use brute force on the Land Guards and those who employ them. Declare a Curfew Hours there from 6PM to 6AM and let the Military and the Police strictly enforce the Curfew. The Police and the Military should be allowed to fire back at people who carry Guns at Public Places. Yes, let all people with Guns deposit them at the Police Station. People found with Guns to be sent to the Gondar Barracks and Michel Camp for two weeks of serious Military Discipline and supervised Military Community Service from 6:00 AM to 6:00PM. This should be rigidly enforced during their period of Detention. That is very important and necessary.
The people at the Gomoa District should be under a similar Curfew to be enforced by a joint Military and Police Patrol. Besides emergency services vehicles, no Commercial Vehicles should be allowed to operate at the Gomoa District during the Curfew Hours for some months. The Security Officials should be allowed to enforce the Curfew Hours for about Six Months. The people over there will become tamed and stop their nonsense and destructions. Mahama should just declare a State of Emergency and use absolute force to control the area. We don't want another Bawku at Gomoa.
