Afriyie Ankra’s. assertion is totally wrong
somehow, a Good person and knowledge will
determine the effectiveness of one’s work,
A great thinker like Honourable Locke made it
Clear that Good men Constitute a Good
Government must backed by knowledge. Locke
was a contemporary figure who appeared with
Adam Smith, Afriyie Ankrah must know what he is
going to do there.

I think we should not crucify the messenger but rather consider the message. It is a powerful message so let's look at it and see whether there is wisdom in it.

You match with hooligans to EC offices to disrupt election declaration and SC premises to cause chaos. Are these good characters?

Character indeed. Where in the world is one coconut sold for $15? Come again Afriyie Ankrah . In order to impact we must live by examples.

MASSA, WE NEED BOTH.
CHARACTER ALONE WITHOUT ACADEMICS TO TRANSFORM SOCIETY IS FLAWED ASSERTION.
AND EDUCATION IS SUPPOSED TO BREED VALUES, VIRTUES AND GOOD CHARACTER.
THE REASON THIS SEEMS NOT TO BE HAPPENING IN GHANA IS BECAUSE CITIZENS ARE NOT WELL CATERED FOR , AND LEFT TO STRUGGLE TO FEND FOR THEMSELVES WHILE THE STATE DOES TOO LITTLE.
GHANAIANS HAVE SUFFERED TOO MUCH AND TOO LONG (AND IT SEEMS THIS TREND PREVAILS ACROSS THE ENTIRE CONTINENT.
THE GOVERNMENT MUST USE THE VAST NATURAL RESOURCES AND WEALTH OF THE NATION FOR THE GENERAL COMMON GOOD OF THE PEOPLE.
BASIC NECESSITIES LIKE FOOD AND SHELTER AND HEALTH AND EDUCATION MUST BE MADE EASILY AVAILABLE AND WHERE NECESSARY SOME, BORNE BY GOVERNMENT VIA THE WEALTH OF THE COUNTRY.
HUNGER, LACK, POVERTY ALWAYS BREED CRIME AND CORRUPTION.
WE CANNOT FIGHT CORRUPTION WHERE THERE IS EXTREME POVERTY, LACK, SCARCITY AND STRUGGLING ALL THE TIME.
FUEL PRICES, FOR EXAMPLE SHOUKD BE DRASTICALLY REDUCED TO CUSHION THE SOCIOECONOMIC IMPACT ON CITIZENS.
ITS SENSELESS TO HAVE VAST AMOUNT OF CRUDE OIL IN GHANA AND WE PRICE OUR FUEL ACCORDING TO WORLD MARKET PRICE.
GOVERNMENT SHOULD DEDICATE ONE OF THE 3 OIL FIELDS TO SERVE GHANAIANS AND A VERY AFFORDABLE PRICE WHICH WILL INTURN REDUCE FOOD PRICES AND OTHER SOCIAL SERVICES IN GHANA.
GOVERNMENT MUST ALSO CONTROL PRICES OF GIODS AND SERVICES ACROSS BOARD, ESPECIALLY, FOOD, ACCOMMODATIONS, HEALTH, WATER & ELECTRICITY BILLS AND EDUCATION.
GHANAIANS WORKERS SHOULD BE PAID WELL FROM THE LOWEST TO THE HIGHEST ON THE JOB LADDER.
A HUNGRY MAN WILL ALWAYS BE ANGRY AND COMMIT CORRUPT PRACTICES.

That is true! Characters that made a former sport minister buy kenkey and coconuts for $50 each during the world cup in Brazil for supporters and players. Shame on you!
