This is indeed good news—Ghanaians have taken over GTP. It's a significant step, and I believe it comes with great potential and responsibility.

My hope and expectation is that they will seize this opportunity to expand beyond their traditional offerings and become a true fabric hub for the nation. It would be wonderful to see them produce high-quality shirting, trousers materials, khaki in various colors, quality jeans, and other fabrics—all under one roof.

If they can position themselves as the go-to place for quality textiles, they will not only meet local demand but also reduce our reliance on imports. That would be a win for the industry, for jobs, and for the economy.

I'm optimistic about this new chapter and look forward to seeing what they will achieve.
