If we had allowed the project to go on, by now, the carpenters, maisons, security staff, electricians, steel benders, labourers, wood sellers etc would have still been in business, we foolishly made noise and grounded a good project.

Similar things happened during the construction of the national theatre, today who are enjoying it?

When David wanted to build a temple for God, he was told by God to concentrate securing Israel from her enemies who were determined to wipe Israel out of the face of the earth. God's own priority was not the temple but the security of His people Israel. When Solomon became king, he didn't begin building the temple that God has promised him to do. The temple was build when Israel became a prosperous nation. God Himself said in the Bible that he does not dwell in human building but in the hearts of people who worship and honour Him. People like Professor Manso should know this better than any of us. If he claims to be serving the nation, he should have been wise and sensible to know that this Cathedral idea is a private enterprise and he can associate with it as a private citizen making private contributions to it. If it begins as a private enterprise only for people of his stature to associate with and waste public funds on it, he should be ashamed to be complaining of being chastised by the citizens.

Per the famous Ghana SC case Prof Frimpong-Manso, you and I were not there when ex-president Akufo-Addo supposedly made his promise to God to build God a cathedral.

We were told a story by Akufo-Addo and we swallowed it whole-heartedly without reservation. But even if the cathedral was truly God-inspired, it could not have succeeded when you put the man Rev Kusi Boateng in charge, created a 2nd identity for him to enable him, Rev Kusi Boateng, to go around the world milking people for money without accountability. Unless my reading and understanding of the Christian Bible was wrong, God was never going to sit idle by while his name is used to rob the people.

If you, Prof Frimpong-Manso believe your heart was clean then you have nothing to fear but fear itself; no man can come near you unless through God. The biggest problem for all of you involved in the cathedral saga is that you refuse to take the beam in your own eyes (allowing yourselves to be fooled by Akufo-Addo era free money) out first while you tell critics to get rid of the specks in their eyes (because they dared to criticize the cathedral project for the scam that it was)

There are places to worship God in Ghana and never has God shown his displeasure with his houses. The people who worship God must be healthy and alive to worship and pay their tithe; the greed to use God's name to make money drove you all to destroy homes and offices, stop building hospitals and roads that makes living worthy and then pretend that God truly needed the cathedral. Can any of you advocates tell readers where you left God in Ghana since the cathedral is nowhere near completion?
