  @Easy, Your is a fair comment, and I agree that those who pay bribes should also be held accountable. It takes two to corrupt—the one who takes and the one who gives. If we only go after the receiver while the giver walks free, we are not solving the problem.
  That said, my heart goes out to both the victim and, in a way, to the one who paid the bribe. The victim deserves justice and dignity—no one should suffer or lose their life because of corruption. But the giver is also a victim of a broken system. They likely felt desperate, powerless, or afraid—believing that without the bribe, they would not get a fair chance in a system that had already failed them. That is not an excuse, but it is a reality we must acknowledge.
  The Bible says we should not receive a bribe because it blinds the clear-sighted and corrupts the words of the righteous (Exodus 23:8). But it also shows us that gifts given in secret often come from a place of fear or desperation (Proverbs 21:14).
  We must arrest both the taker and the giver, but we must also ask: why do people feel they have no choice but to bribe? If we do not fix the system, we will keep punishing the symptoms while the disease remains.
  May justice be served—not just to punish, but to restore, heal, and build a system that serves everyone fairly.
