Jordan Ayew is the captain for Black Stars
Ghana captain Jordan Ayew says he did not hesitate when the opportunity to join English Championship side Sheffield United came his way.
Ayew speaking with Sheffield media revealed that the move happened quickly after he received a call from the club’s manager while he was in Ghana.
“I didn’t think twice; I just took the opportunity, "he stated.
The forward said the decision was made easier by the mutual interest between himself and the club.

He is now focused on making an impact and helping Sheffield United enjoy a successful season.
Ayew believes the club has a strong squad and is determined to contribute to its ambitions.
“And I have a lot of desire this season to obviously make an impact and to help the team because we have a good squad and there's a lot of positive things we can do," he added.
"I didn't think twice; I just took the opportunity."
