National Security means JOBS FOR THE BOYS AND GIRLS. Hahahahahaha. Do we need Party Boys and Girls to work at the Jubilee House? If you want jobs for them, let them go to work on helping to rehabilitate the roads and do some Farm Work. Kwame Nkrumah had the Young Pioneer and they worked at farms. Kutu Acheampong established OPERATION FEED YOURSELF farms and Fish Ponds. For the first time in the History of Ghana, we started exporting food to other African countries. Even Schools had farms. During his time, Ghana did not import Rice and Corn. Now, we import even Tomatoes and Okra from Burkina Faso which is very arid. Why can't these young people be employed in such fields? Should everybody be employed at the Jubilee House, in Accra, Tema, and the other Regional and District Capitals? There should really be no unemployment in Ghana except those who want to be unemployed. Ghana can have Granite Quarry factories because we have a lot of such rock deposits. What about employing some people in the Fishing Industry? The Government cannot employ everybody to be working in Accra Tema and the other Regional Capitals.

I don't know how issues are with the cadres who were trained to defend the revolution.
I joined in 1983 to defend the revolution, but after spending a few months in Cuba with some of the cadres and reports coming from Accra, I realized that there was no revolution to defend.
The 31st December, 1981 revolution was given to the Breton Wood Institutions to chew.
That was what I told all and sundry who were returning from Havana in May, 1984 with joy and singing that they have a revolution to safeguard and keep.
I jumped the ship upon landing in Accra and joined the opposition. I joined the Forum them led by Kwame Karikari. We held meetings at the Institute of Languages, Accra. Until fear set in and the group dispersed.
I was out of sight of everyone who was trained to defend the revolution until in May, 1985 when duty call me the serve the nation, which I undertook with pride.
I was just appointed a civil servant less than two weeks earlier. I was deceived with accommodation and some other things.
There was an issue which should have dented the name of the security services and I was called by the head at the department I served to put things right.
I intervened not depending on the threats that I took like water falling on the back of the duck.
Having completed that work I promised an accommodation. I keep on checking on when the accommodation will be ready, only to be told one day that the accommodation has given to a medical officer who was in need of it.
That was in 1991. Two weeks later it was in the "Gaily Graphic" newspaper that the alleged medical officer was a fraudster.
Two weeks later Commander Asase-Dzimah saw me passing by the gate of the Blue Gate, he stopped his car, got out off it, and called me. He remembered my face, but did not know my name.
I don't want to be deceived again, so I ignored him.
In the same year some of the cadres of the revolution got together and want to agitate for return of the country to civilian rule.
The approached me and I told them that I was no longer a CDR person that they should go and look for a CDR man to led them. But they insisted and I became the Chairman of the Concerned Cadres of the Revolution, with Comrade Nanabanyin Mbia as the Secretary.
I performed my duty in the interest of Mother Ghana and in 1992 left the position unceremoniously.
I took to writing poems in some of the dailies.
In 1995 I was called to save the nation from the disaster that was awaiting on the Kume Preko Day. I was then a civil servant so could not partake in the demonstration.
Before the demonstration will commence, I was with S.S. Baffour-Awuah in Adabraka. He and those with him were afraid to join the demonstrators.
I told him to represent the people of Ghana at the Kume Preko Demonstration with the word The couple stone in the weapon of the proletariat.
Some of those the revolution maltreated I got to know later. Ross became a security guard in some private security company.
So this has been a problem from the days of the PNDC and I was of the view that the sickness has been cured.
So I wish to appeal to President John Mahama and Lt. Colonel Gbevlo-Lartey to cure the sickness, if it persists.
