Now, the redenomination of the cedi, remember JJ recalling all the 50 cedi notes in the system before he became leader citing corruption, he then printed 500, 5,000-cedi notes and if 50-cedi notes destroyed our economy then, what do you think the 500 and 5,000 did to it?

The million, million cedis which had become part of the daily vocabulary came from those useless bills JJ printed so, Kufuor took those ZEROS and reversed it to the time before JJ.

How good was those big bills JJ printed? Do you see them? If you see huge bills in any economy, try to understand that things are not going on well. I remember Zimbabwe printed 1 billion shillings notes when their economy came under intense galloping inflation meaning their monetary system was out of control.

It is unfair to ask what a PWD worker knew at the time, do you know what position he held? I will always maintain that Nkrumah rushed in where angels trod with caution. Kenyatta realised the black man was inherently corrupt so he allowed the whites to stay after independence. But Nkrumah always wanted to show the rest of the world that the black man was capable of managing their own affairs. The mistake he made was that we were all not like him. Even if the expatriates were demanding more, Nkrumah should have seen it as a strategic move to retain their services. See, a white person in Ghana could call another white person abroad to organise something far faster and more efficiently than his black counterpart could ever dream of doing. This is the point that was lost on Nkrumah. If I had my way, I would bring back the whites! We have clearly demonstrated time and again that we are incapable of running our affairs as Nkrumah mistakenly thought we could do. I agree wholeheartedly with this old man.

In what capacity was this man employed in the PWD. State Construction Corporation that Kwame Nkrumah established did a yo man's work in construction without the participation of any Caucasian. An example is the JOB 600 known as the State House.
Some of the people who Kwame Nkrumah replaced the white men are over 80 years, yet are contribution towards the development of this country and also paying tax.
