  That is called cheap labour and slavery, they are abusing the people for fun, they must be stopped. The end product and prices at the international market are the same, so why are mining workers in Ghana paid less than Australia or South Africa, there is absolutely no justification for that, it is abuse of power and disrespect for the workers, because those corrupt evil cartels can get away with it, period.

  WHAT THE CHAMBER OF MINES IS SAYING MUST BE GIVEN A SECOND THOUGHT, IF THE COMPANY IS READY TO DO OWN MINING AND MAINTENANCE WHY SHOULD WE FORCE THEM TO GO INTO LOCAL CONTENT CONTACT. IS IT NOT THE SAME GHANAIANS WORKING IN THOSE DEPARTMENTS. MINING WAS JOY THOSE TIMES...TODAY A MINIG WORKER IS JUST ABOUT GOING TO WORK AND CLOSING WITHOUT ANY BETTER CARE. VERY BAD ONE.
  THE CONTRACTORS TAKEOVER, GIVES PAY CUTS WITHOUT ANY BENEFIT TO THE ORDINARY WORKER, NO PF, NO MEDICAL CARE, NO ALLOWANCE, NO TRAINING AND NO BETTER SAFETY CARE. IT IS REALLY BAD AND THIS THINGS HAS GONE ON FOR FAR TO LONG TO BE DISCUSSED. THE IDEA OF THIS LOCAL CONTENT CONTRACT MINING HAS NOT HELP THE MINING SECTOR. I THINK WE SHOULD PUT THINGS IN PLACE BEFORE WE ABOLISH WHAT IS THERE.
