You can't just discard the 100yrs experience of the British with the flimsy excuse that the black man can manage its own affairs.We needed guidance & coaching after independence and we shouldn't have taken that wrong decision. By the time he was overthrown, Ghanaians couldn't even afford fish, export of cocoa had dropped significantly and forex reserves couldn't even import raw materials for the factories he was putting up

The fact that this is what he felt about Nkrumah’s government does not mean that was what the MAJORITY of Ghanaians who lived around that same time felt. Yes, Nkrumah made some mistakes but so has every other government after him.

I am sad that at his advanced age he seems not to know the West in general has never been enthused to see Africa progress and have been using subtle ways and means to thwart our progress as Africans. But no matter what the West does our progress is inevitable as more and more African countries start to take charge of their God given natural resources and use that to benefit their people.

PWD worked perfectly. Roads were repaired with no issues. All we do is complain why we cannot do anything. Iran iraq war makes ghana not do anything? What have those stupid leaders we've had done for ghana? What is exports against imports? Look at South Africa and compare it to ghana in terms of development. Apart from being greedy and personal gains, what do Ghanaian leaders do for ghana? Is it the corruption, and lack of vision we are happy about? A white person can do something that gonna benefit next generation or even next 2-5 generations without him even going to benefit. Do you see any Ghanaian leader thinking like that. It should not be a question of skin color. Expertise is what counts. Our youths have voted with their feet since independence. Running to serve the so called white oppressors. London Germany Netherlands Cannada USA etc, yet we continue to the Nkrumahist going on an on and on about western imperialist note Mandela went to prison under the whites and lived to become president. The Ashanti was taken away for 27 years and came back to his throne. A Ga king was also taken away and lived to come back to his throne. Under Nkrumah most of his detainees wound up dead or incapacitated in Prison. Who has been a worse oppressor of Ghanaians. Let’s listen to the Okd Man and learn from his experience.
