What the MP failed to mention is that government pays 60% and the MP's 40% with duties and taxes removed thus making the V8 cheap for MP's. A teacher, nurse, civil servant, lecturer will not get this.

When you divide that by 48 months for a four year term it means every month's car payment will be 39,583GHS How much is the parliamentarian's annual salary to cover the cost of the car within the four year period? These guys really believe all Ghanaians are dumb and stupid eh! They do not pay for the cars because their income cannot even cover the cost of the cars not to mention their other monthly expenses. The government simply right off the balance they owe on the cars every four years and give it to them out as part of end of service benefits. That is why every fool in Ghan wants to be a parlimentarian.
