All over the world soldiers are not only used for wars. In peace time they can also be deployed for civil works which can also include humanitarian work. That is why ghana found the need to send our soldiers to Jamaica to help in humanitarian work when that country was devastated by a hurricane. Paul Yandoh and the likes of him should humble themselves and get educated in such matters.

It gives the Soldiers actual training and experience. Recently some Ghana soldiers were sent to help Jamaica during the recent devastating hurricane and floods in the Caribbean countries. So it is good that these trained and disciplined soldiers help in the national emergencies and development. My congratulations to the Ghana Armed Forces for a job professionally executed. Before declaring others “ignorant”, perhaps one should remember that during the Akufo-Addo administration, armed soldiers were famously deployed inside Parliament during the 2021 Speaker-election chaos.
So the lesson is rather simple: if military involvement in Parliament was objectionable then, it remains objectionable now. If one condemns it today but conveniently forgets yesterday, that is not political principle; it is selective memory.
And turning every controversy into a performance for headlines does not make an argument stronger. Sometimes it merely makes the politics louder than the facts.

If Paul Yandor believes that the presence of soldiers instill fear in some, then it is a reflection and uncontrolled instictive reaction from a community that have known and seen illegal and criminal activities in the community but choose to be mute and play dumb and blind. Paul Yandor, who was Wontumi's loyal bootlicker was aware of some of the shady deals and crimes of his boss but the presumed classroom educated Paul Yandor chose to play the footstool of the semi-educated Wontumi for some easy money.

The armed forces did not open up Afram Plains,the road was there already and they went to tar it which has been washed away long ago due to its shoddy nature and the President knows it,they spent their time there eating goats, sheep,cows and chickens belonging to poor farmers,the randy ones went after other people's wives for which reason a truck load of them plunged into the valley between Atibie and Nkawkaw on their way to Accra,this is well known in the Afram Plains and Nkawkaw,so their road construction prowess is nothing to write home about,just like the Plains if they tamper with other people's wives they will have themselves to blame,a word to the wise.

The military are are assisting in resolving the perennial flooding in parts of Accra. If successful it is also a vote winner. Some people do not wish Ghana well under NDC so that they can say NDC failed and should not be retained.
