I am amazed by what is happening to our students who report to school with Metal Trunks and Wooden Chop Boxes. At our time, that was the only alternative. My father could not afford to attend MFANTSEPIM and ACHIMOTA Schools because his Parents could not afford to buy a Metal Trunk which was then called AIRTIGHT for him. Some students could be forced to attend Secondary Schools as DAY STUDENTS. I saw such incidents at my Secondary School.
I think that the various School Authorities should admit students if their Bags and Clothes and other Containers are not dangerous, unhygienic and cannot hurt other students.

Trunk and chop boxes can be recycled for such needy students. SHS 3 leavers should be encouraged to donate theirs, to a pool, that can then be reused by SHS 1 incommers. We don't have enough trees, to go around hundreds of th ...

It has become display of wealth in shs.
Far back some 20 years ago, in some schools, if a student washed her dress and dried it otherwise drying line,and incidentally that dress felt onto the ground, the owner of that dress dare not pick or take it back . If she dare, then you are from a very poor home.
So that would be the end of the story.
There are more to this attitude in many of the SHS in the country
