I remember that Nkrumah's statue was pulled down because most Ghanaians were fed up with his arbitrary and tyrannical rule. How many people were sent to the Nsawam Penitentiary without trial and were even made to die in Prison custody against the advice of the Prison Medical Doctors because of their deteriorating Health conditions? Was JB DANQUAH not made to die in Prison when he was going blind and Prison Medical Doctors recommended that he should be released? Nkrumah was an absolute dictator and ruled Ghana with Iron Hands. People loved him out of fear. Yes, everybody had to praise him even if he did wrong and went arbitrary. Yes, we know how he made his informants use the Young Pioneer Children to tell or fake on their Parents. Truly, he was not liked. This was known by the widespread jubilation throughout Ghana when his overthrow was announced. And many Ghanaians also jubilated when the death of Efo Julor John Rawlings was announced. Our Politicians should just learn and know how to treat people humanely.
The people of Ellembelle can even build a Pyramid for him. Many Ghanaians will not care.

Ask yourself what did your criminal ancestors who collaborated with foreign agents to overthrow Nkrumah do. They were worse than him on the ills you have enumerate. It was jealousy, pure hatred on the fact that a boy from a village of Nkroful has made their self claimed highly educated useless. Sounds familiar in recent years,? WE HAVE THE MEN, nonsense and when they were given the mandate they crashed the economy whilst their bank account bulge with stolen monies. Ghanaians quickly have to bring Mahama back to save the country.

The soldiers who rightly kicked them out said they did so to relieve them of further embarrassment. The same way unscrupulous Nana Addo was embarrassing himself so much at a point he wished the military had taken over to relieve him of further disgrace. Apart from Accra which is very cosmopolitan, trying to place statues non-indigenes at place may cause a lot of issues, except something very re-markable happened to the person at that location. The final go-ahead must be approved by lokal chiefs though.

Statutes are generally built posthumous, meaning after the death of a person to acknowledge their works while alive. So the construction of the statue was the 'me re y3 me ho ayie aansa na m'akor' type. Nobody will remember me, so let me have my own statue at junction because nobody will do that after my death ....
