As a player, you want all your teammates to be great assets, with each playing doing what is expected of them. It makes the work easy and fun and safer (in respect of injury probability).

But you have a situation in which the GFA executives put their agency interests way above the national interest, the coach too is just interested in this his windfall post pension cash inflows and some of the players too..... hhmmmm. The Black Star is not going anywhere, so why waste your time and effort on a project that has been set up to fail by the GFA executives themselves?

We consistently feature this washed-up player even though we have other younger attacking playing Ghanaians in top-flight European leagues, but don't get a chance. The Ghana Football Association (GFA) is corrupt and needs to be overhauled! How can members of the GFA be associated with local teams or represent players, while actively involved with the GFA ? It doesn't happen in Europe and other areas, and should not happen in Ghana. This enables the GFA members to push their team players, or players they represent (e.g. Kurt Okraku and Baba Rahman)into the national team without merit. Does anyone believe Baba Rahman and few others deserved to have been in the world cup squad, even though Afena-Gyan and Ashimeru had played brilliantly in one of the friendlies prior to the world cup, and left out? Jordan Ayew was horrible in the world cup yet he is always in the first 11. His only accolade is that he is the only player to have been on a team that has been relegated 6 times. Wake up GFA!!!
