I think that Jails and Prisons should be made very horrible and uncomfortable and disgusting places for inmates so that when criminals are released, they will never want to go back again as some Prisoners in Ghana have been to Prison for more than three times and they don't care about going back. I worked with a big Black man who was imprisoned in Arizona Prison which is a hot Desert. He said that the Sheriff there is so damn inhuman that he has disconnected all the Water Fountains that can be cold. He explained that temperatures could be around 90 Degrees Fahrenheit. He explained that the conditions at the Prison are horrible. The are Handcuffed and Gang chained to work outside in the Heat outside for 8 hours with only 30 minutes break in the shade for lunch. He told me that nothing will let him commit an offense and go back to Prison again. After his release from Prison, he started doing two jobs so that he can't get the chance to commit any crime and be taken back to Prison. I know that there are some innocent ones who are wrongly imprisoned but most of the people in Prison deserve to be there. Yes, and they should be Handcuffed , Chained and shackled to do Daily Community Service. The stubborn and violent ones should chained and Horsewhiped at the bare backs, buttocks and under their feet often. No Prisoner will ever want to go back to the Prison again for even a visit.
The stubborn Galamsayers should be treated like that and Galamsay will immediately end. The Police, Community and even Traditional and Religious Leaders who aid Galamsayers should be treated the same way. I can promise that many Galamsayers and criminals will stop immediately.

Some of us behave like animals, first of all some of the people that were jailed, is a situation of unemployment,a hungry is always an angry, he or she have to look to somewhere to survive, so when such things happen at list those in charge have to understand that one they didn't killed anyone is a criminal matter so they should treat them some kind of dignity.
The so call investigation, if only they will do right to serve deterrent to others and justice to those dies in the course of this unhuman treatment ,it be a good step.
