For instance, GES as an institution could have applied for its own sub-domain', like ges.com.gh so that ALL teachers could have institutional email addresses like abc100@ges.com.gh

When a teacher retires from service, leaves the service or dies their account is closed/disabled.

In the town that I live in, all schools and offices have the same sub-domain. Note that to avoid conflicts, names are suffixed (a standard proc.) with numbers, like xxx123@......

We need to be smart.

Ah, so now democracy means you can insult elderly people anyhow and, when someone calls you out, suddenly you become a professor of constitutional law?
Nobody is taking anybody's freedom of speech away, my dear ones. We are free to speak, but please remember that freedom of speech does not come with a licence to insult elders unnecessarily and then hide behind democracy when someone questions our behaviour.
If you’re invited to explain why you decided to call an elderly person “stupid” or throw unnecessary insults at someone old enough to be your parent, please don’t start shouting that your freedom of speech is being curtailed. You are still free to speak. In fact, you will be given an excellent opportunity to demonstrate that freedom by explaining exactly what gave you the courage to say it.
And honestly, if people could speak to their own parents and grandparents the same way they sometimes speak to elderly people on social media, some family meetings would need microphones and a whole afternoon.
Respecting elders does not mean you agree with everything they say or do. You can disagree, criticise and even strongly challenge their views without turning your mouth into a weapon of unnecessary insults.
So, by all means, exercise your freedom of speech. Just remember that having the freedom to speak does not mean every thought that enters your head deserves immediate public release.
