That is why they can't travel to any other country in the Western World with a Nigerian Traveling Passport. They travel with fake Ghana Passports and others that they have been helped to obtain by Fraudulent Ghanaian Officers. I think that all Professional Drivers driving Commercial Vehicles should be made to attend an obligatory Driving School and pass a written test before being issued a Professional Driving license to save the lives of their passengers and other Road Users.
I also think that there should be an enforcement of Speed Limits that Commercial Vehicles can drive up to.
During the time of Efo Julor John Rawlings, the Vehicle Toyota Hiace were turned into Moving Coffins. Commercial Vehicle Drivers were booked at the time they left the Station and had to be rechecked at any District Police Barrier to indicate the time it had taken them to reach that barrier since they crossed each Police and Military Barrier. The Drivers who overspeed were given Physical Discipline by the Police and Military Officials at the Barrier. That almost ended such crazy speeding and deaths on our roads. Unfortunately, there were some passengers who urged the Drivers to speed more and overtake the vehicle ahead of their vehicle. Does that make sense? That is absolute nonsense. Some Military and Policemen on duty took matters to the extremes by threatening to beat whip up innocent Commercial Drivers unless they pay bribes.
Finally, Efo Julor John Rawlings examined stop such disciplines by the Police and Military on our roads because they were also undemocratic. It should be said that those measures helped reduce the accidents on our roads. Let us revisit such checks and stop overspeeding and Drunken Driving.
