I support Martin on this one. There are better ways of handling this MPs issue. Just send a letter to Parliament to request an audience with the MP. Inform the speaker that he will be under arrest pursuant to the necessary laws and arraign him for court at the right time. Simple.

To plant a female on him after he represented his client in court is not tidy and if they think that using a female will help was not thought through.

Neutrals help a party to win power so such acts will turn away this vital vote from the party.

Now, this nurse who is being hounded is useless and doesn't help the NDC is anyway. Even if she is a friend of Gh Jollof, who cares? That they want to assassinate the president or make a coup?

Please NDC elders, speak to these issues. Mahama, there are some people who have personal grievances against other people and they are using the cover of your presidency to act against their enemies. Stop them from using your presidency in their dastardly acts.

What is really happening to our democracy. This is unheard of, that there is an attempt by State security personnels (EOCO) to arrest the lawyer and a parliamentarian as such representing an accused person, Salomey Baffoe during her court hearing. Is this an attempt by the government to intimidate and suppress a lawyer who is executing his core professional duties.

Come on Ghana, this is below the belt. If you want to arrest the lawyer, there are channels and procedures EOCO could use to invite the lawyer since he is a member of parliament, rather than this disgraceful seen that just happened at court today. This continuous arrest of citizens without due process should stop. Nobody is above the constitution of Ghana. We are all subject to this constitution, so nobody should use the power the people of Ghana has bestowed on them to put fear and public in the same people who elected them into office.

It’s not right and we shall not condone to this practice of arresting people that is going on in our country now. We must all speak against government officials who use their office to perpetuate this behavior.
