If his arrest and custody happened in Ghana and he was a politician of a certain brand, there would have been demonstrations and calls for his release and many of his sympathisers would say he is innocent until proven guilty.

Let us learn that even in the USA an accused can be held in custody and not granted bail under certain circumstances.
