Why not promote Teachers and Nurses and pay them regularly. Can that be done to the Military and the Police? In Uncle Sam's country, the workers that the Government fears most are Teachers. No Government wants Teachers to go on Strike. For about 4 decades that I have lived in Uncle Sam's country, Teachers have never been on strike. If they do, Uncle Sam's country will come at a standstill. Teachers are feared and respected most.
Can you imagine Teachers going on strike and students not going to school. Students always illegally carry High Powered Pistol, and sometimes Assault Rifles which are loaded and they are ready to use them on the least provocation. Yes, the students enter into their school buildings through Metal Detectors. Their Bags should be transparent and everything passes on a conveyance belt through metal detector devices. There are usually two or three Police vehicles stationed at school premises as well as Police Helicopters stationed at convenient places to fly into action. No Uncle Sam's Government will ever want Teachers to go on strike. It will be disastrous for the country. Please, Government, treat the Teachers, Nurses and other workers respectively. The Teachers and Nurses have a weapon that they can use against the Government. Yes. If the Government pretends to pay them, the Teachers and Nurses can also pretend to work. In a Democratic country, we shall see how the Government can suffer if the students begin to fail in their exams and many sick patients die at the Hospitals daily.

There should be an injunction on the teachers and nurses from striking. They should rather work under any conditions till money becomes available for them.

Election has consequences and this is one of them.
