With our key players out, we should have used about 3 locals who are prepared to earn a name for themselves by playing their hearts out.

Ghana is bereft of MIDFIELDERS. We need players in the mold of Abedi Pele, Mo Polo, Abdul Razak, Aldof Armah, Essien, Muntari, Steve Appiah and a host of others. International football is based on ready-made tradesmen (Players). International football Coaches don't have the luxury of time to have club-like training sessions, where the fine points of the game is agreed on and practised daily. The best International coaches are those blessed with ready-made players. Unfortunately our present crop of players are low grade quality, third rate,but pampered group. They cannot think for themselves during the game. They can't pass the ball at pace on the floor.Our defenders are so poor on the ball that they resort to high balls, from defence to dwarfish forwards-cold chop for the giant defenders. No silky skillful players to turn opposing defence in and out. Carlos K Roz, get these boys to just have composure on the ball and the headache will be over. I don't know if the Ghana FA has tapes of films of their forerunner Blackstars to show and shame the current players.Kurt,Ghana is now breeding wingers,and low quality wingers, What about the ENGINE ROOM of football MIDFIELD ??? Please it your duty by policy to find and unvail the Midfield potentials in our towns and villages. I can assure you there are thousands of them.

Young players with potential are being sold to Europe and North Africa in their early teens. It is not possible in this day and age due to greed of player agents and club owners.
