Maybe in the past it might be, but not anymore. If you have Ghc 300,000 in Ghana and cannot deploy it towards a fruitful business, not you are in serious trouble because you will find out the hard way that it would be extremely hard to raise that amount of money hustling in the UK. Unless of course, you are going to get into some fraud or illegal shit.
There is plenty of Africans in UK and elsewhere living paycheck to paycheck, so if you are fortunate enough to be able to raise Ghc 300,000,it would be a shame to waist it on a connection to UK

All you have to do is look around the country and you can see projects going on everywhere without the government borrowing. All the world financial and economic regulators have said Ghana is on the right trajectory, and it's very evident for all to see except when you have your NPP blinders on. Even then, you can't escape it, as you would be stumbling on it while going to one of the many press conferences and demonstrations. Open your eyes or you would fall inside one of the many gutters being built all over Accra

We have a beautiful fertile land with excellent weather suitable for growing almost anything, beautiful beaches etc. Ghana’s governments should do everything possible to encourage our citizens to stay home and develop our country. The solution is not to travel abroad. In so many cases, the foreign dream turns into a nightmare.

We all watched the slow motion disaster movie where especially over the last 10 years, clueless politicians motivated by greed, made decisions and took actions which led to galamsey poisoning and polluting our land and our rivers, horribly deforesting the country. Mining in Forest Reserves with expensive bulldozers and issuing mining licenses to family and friends. What sort of leader would allow such things ? We pray for Ghana to have good competent leadership.

We have a mentally backward mentality in Ghana. I just watched a video of young people at Kentucky Fried Chicken at KNUST. More than a hundred of them were almost in a potentially deadly stampede situation, trying to get into the fast food restaurant - almost breaking the glass window which could have been fatal. For what ?? Some small chicken ?? In Ghana we stupidly believe that everything foreign is wonderful and best.

We very often import poor quality products from abroad focusing on quantity rather than quality including tinned tomatoes from China, whilst tonnes of our fresh tomatoes are rotting in our hinterland - just one example of many. I hope the current government will do everything possible to address this. There are many more. What at all is wrong with us ? We need to change our mindset.
