I think he should concentrate on good strikers as he rebuilds the team. He must start serious scouting for young talents and must be his own man when it comes to inviting and selecting players.

Until Ghana massively invest in the domestic league regarding infrastructure, officiating and player development, rebuilding of the Black Stars into a winsome side will surely amount to nothing.
The local league players should be used to form the nucleus of the team.
Diasporan players may be added to help improve the team but not to form the nucleus or centerpiece of the team.
Ghana was conquering Africa from the 1970s to early 1990s when that was the player selection strategy.
Currently, Spain is all-conquering having about eight Barcelona players in the national team.
The Spain national team is just a delight to watch with their close-knit and unhurried inter-positional passing with quality and identity.
Our currently adopted frefrekobo strategy will never, ever produce any positive and delightful results.
