The real reason for the destruction of the LA Pleasure Beach,which was a famous tourist joint which earned foreign exchange for the nation hasn't yet be known. It wasn't part of the anti floods measures. The hotel hasn't come out to say they authorised it especially as a private company battling it's landlords ie the La Traditional Council at the courts,the case hasn't been decided yet over the beachfront for them to seek destruction of the beachfront . Now some dummy LA Chief mentioned about some illegal structures but he doesn't say ALL the structures and properties at the beach was illegal . Therefore there is still no clear reason for the destruction. Now this is the first time an Iconic tourism feature that employs thousands of Ghanaians both directly and indirectly has been destroyed for no reason especially as the Polo Club allegedly owned by Freddie Blay and co was just a single building so why was the entire place destroyed. This was just another ploy to deny the township of its iconic feature but will rather lead to the opposite of the town having even more iconic features. And those really behind it will suffer untold injustices themselves and will choke in their own blood
