Children in Ghanaian schools have been smoking weed and doing all kinds of bad behaviour since time immemorial. There is nothing new here. All the minister is asking for is a concerted effort to curb such behaviours. It was not an invitation for ignorant Catholic bishop to air grievances about allowing Muslim students to wear hijack or to fast. Get a grip.

How on earth do we expect them to behave differently from us? The mass production of students and unselectiveness and councillors to direct students are part of indecipline in schools. Students follow friends and gang up to certain schools just to destroy it.Also leaders in the community have contributed to it since they are always begging on behalf of students. Corporal punishment is not right but community sentence to deter students can be administered.
