Nelson, just ignore him la. The law for the reforms to the legal education in ghana has been passed and it will work. Have we all forgotten so soon that in 1990 when the constitutent assembly was put together by the PNDC to draft a new constitution for ghana, the antecedents of characters like Mr Boafo refused to be part of it because they said the constitutent assembly was made of farmers, butchers, fishmongers, street hawkers, grass cutter hunters and what have you!!! Yet Chairman Rawlings ignored them, the constitution was drafted and passed and that constitution is what has kept our democracy going for the over thirty years that this country has practiced our constitutional democracy??? The hypocricy of some of these characters is legendary and their feeling of entitlement is sickening. Nelson, please ignore them. The law has been passed and the reforms are already taking place!!!!!

Laws are creations of men and any law created and approved by relevant authorities is considered legal until someone or somebody challenges it at the supreme and win. So it appears to me like the former bar association president is just being a sore loser. Again, being a lawyer in Ghana has become something of privilege when in fact, it is not.
