Abanga Yakubu Fuseini is the National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party
The National Youth Organiser of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Abanga Yakubu Fuseini, has accused the governing National Democratic Congress (NDC) of deceiving Ghanaians (419), describing some of its actions as public relations exercises.
Fuseini made the allegation during an interview on Asempa FM’s Ekosii Sen show, where he criticised the NDC’s approach to governance.
“We have been scammed by the NDC. They are just doing PR,” he said.
He maintained that the NPP was not intimidated by the governing party, arguing that several successful initiatives in the country had been championed by the opposition party.
“Most of the successful initiatives that are working in this country were championed by the NPP, so we are not intimidated by the NDC,” he added.
Fuseini’s comments come as the NPP seeks to strengthen its political position and prepare its supporters for the next general election.
He also called on party youth to communicate the achievements of former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia and explain what he could offer the country if elected president.
He urged young party members to serve as ambassadors for Bawumia by highlighting his record and presenting his vision to voters.
