Stop the typical foolishness that has been bath water for most. If we continue to let tribal and political party loyalties become dictates of our lives, we will continue to fail and never achieve the birth-rights given to each of us as Ghanaians.

When we lived in single level mud houses where we did not have to worry about "structural" integrity we needed no one to tell us how to build; we lived at the mercy of the rainy seasons and floods. Cement and concrete works are foreign to us and they come to us with scientific demands.

I have a problem with local government agencies where we pay staff, especially supervisors, to know and care but they do not. Land development of any type requires license. Building structures require both architectural and civil engineers; civil engineers are required to visit any and all sites where there is ongoing building construction to ensure safety, construction and material dictates are followed.

Do you want to bet that the local government took a few cedi pay-offs and decided to let the ignorant but rich owners build whatever the heck they wanted. To hell with the health, safety and security of occupants has always been the creed of rich folks in Ghana who have become demigods to a whoke bunch of impressionable youth.
