Fetish priest in police custody over alleged killing of 35-year-old contractor

A 37-year-old fetish priest, Osman Imoro, has been arrested by the Nkwanta South Police in connection with the alleged killing of a 35-year-old contractor, Daniel Bijadom, whose remains were reportedly found buried in a septic pit at Tuobodom, a suburb of Nkwanta township.

Imoro was arrested on October 15, 2026, with assistance from community surveillance members, who subsequently handed him over to the police.

Preliminary police investigations indicate that parts of Bijadom’s remains were buried in the septic pit, raising questions about the circumstances surrounding the contractor’s disappearance and alleged death.

The suspect is currently in police custody and is assisting investigators with inquiries into the case.
