When I learnt Political Science in Educational Administration and Management, I came across the term "Creation of Biases." When I came across that term, I feared what humankind could do to damage another person in the name of politics and positions and retention of power.

As a country, creation of biases had been part of us even before and after independence. Biases were created to sell out strong and wise youth into slavery. Biases were created to overthrow doctor Kwame Nkrumah. Biases were created in coup periods. Biases were created during the Former President Kufour's Administration to imprison Tsatsu Tsikata the Lawyer.

Some People at the University of Ghana and others created some biases against Professor Aryeetey who really did his best to expand the university in terms of infrastructure as a development economist. I wrote that the Venerable Professor could have his innocence and he was finally vindicated.

The Good Book says human heart, without Christ (my addendum), is desperately wicked. One would wonder why a fellow human being would trouble his or her kind to depression, frustration, disgrace and even death.

The Headmaster had been exonerated of an alleged case of the burial of a baby somewhere since the committee virtually realized that the allegation which led to riot was a cock and bull story and a wild goose chase with pursed mouths and refusal to even disclose students involved.

The extent to which we are losing our common humanity in the name of unreasonable politics and the quest for "political gains" is very very deplorable. Academic environments are losing their values and becoming pitched camps for politics, tribalism and acrimony. Politics has wantonly permeated everywhere in this country and a reasonable conscience fears for the future. The more worrying aspect is that such biases are created and innocent children, youth and students are manipulated and used to pursue the agenda of evil ones. We must be careful as a nation.

I would support investigations to any extent with regards to the Obuasi Headmaster's alleged sexual misconduct cases. It is reasonable for the aspirant to resign from pursuing his quest for a political position. It is more gladdening he would like to clear his name. It would be much relief for him and his family and loved ones to have him exonerated. It would be very worrying to have the allegations proven.

The Headmaster must pursue his case to logical conclusions. Justice must prevail for him and the alleged victims.

We must wait to see since the outcomes of such cases could go either way.
