Before you know it, your time on earth will be done, and it will be time to check out....and you will not take anything out of this world with you.

Thanks. Some of us have wearied ourselves trying to convince young men and women, especially those with above average income to discipline themselves and budget carefully, live within or even below their means and to learn the basic principles of investing in things that appreciate ( increase) in value with time. Sadly most young high earners ( and even lower earners) give priority to spending on things that do not add value but rather drain their income. They waste money on cars, expensive clothing, partying and on bling etc because they are obsessed with proving to their friend, families and associates that they are successful.
Most of us will never be as rich as Dangote but anyone who practices the principle of delayed gratification will eventually attain a certain level of financial security.

We all admire the man but the truth is that most millionaires all over the world started from zero and built their wealth true sheer had work, courage,tenacity and discipline. These are the people I hold in highest regard because they often overcame great adversity and setbacks to make it. They may have made only a tiny fraction of what Dangote has but they achieved significant financial security. They did not take off from a rocket launch pad. Still, we have to admit that even those who inherit great riches often have to work even harder and be even more focused to be able to hold on to it and as for making it grow further that truly requires a special skill set and talent.
At the end of the day the only thing that really matters is what God Almighty thinks of us and how we made our money and how we use it.

It doesn't matter who you are and what background you come from, if you start getting money and don't exercise discipline and restraint, you are bound to cut your future short.
To buy a jet at that age and not consulting a financial adviser to look at your books is just the wrong thing to do but now he is in a position to know better.
These are the kind of things the should be teach in every classroom and he is giving it out to the general public for free. You should be grateful instead of hateful. Making money is like making children. It is super easy but keeping it / raising them, is another story.
"Money comes without instructions" and there is a reason for that because they are hoping you will lose it all back to them.
