Don't bring Tribalism into this. Generally speaking, many Ghanaians are criminals irrespective of where they come from. Check from Ghana and you can find out how many are involved in criminal activities. The Anlo -Ewes are less criminals because of solving problems with Voodoo. Their women are more faithful as compared to other ethnic groups. They are usually not involved in heinous crimes because if you offend them, they take you to the Traditional Gods. Most of their leaders will hardly cheat on their husbands. Unfortunately, the desire for money and unemployment in the country have made many people from all ethnic groups to cheat. I lived and worked at Tamale and they are less likely to cheat or steal from people. How many of them are found guilty by the Judicial System to be involved in criminal activities? Visit the Prisons and find out. Many of them who end up in Prisons are usually those who have come to live in the South. They are more trustworthy than other people from Ghana. Yes, and the Anlo -Ewes too are honest except those who have come to live in Accra, Kumasi, and other Southern cities. Do you know how many of them are preferred to be Watchmen and Domestic Helpers? Go to live in Kumasi, Accra and see if Akans are trustworthy.

Yes, it's also the truth that crime cannot be attributed to a particular tribe, however, the rate at which Akan names mostly dominated by Asantes and Akyems topping every transnational crime is alarming.

Akans are in this position solely because, they're quick to celebrate materially affluent individuals as those who are successful in life without taken into consideration how they made it. (W'abo bra paaa)

When it comes to Ewes, they don't celebrate people who have acquired wealth through foul means. In fact, they will warn their wards against such characters. A typical Ewe parent will warn a child to work hard and make it genuinely, and that, they won't be part of anything gotten through thievery. You can be poor but once you're honest, those are the people Ewes celebrate.

Law enforcement authorities ( mostly based abroad) have now been able to accumulate a huge amount of information about the scammers going back a few years. We'll see mass arrests over the next few years as this massive amount of information is processed by authorities We'll also see many famous people fall as a result of actions taken by foreign-based law enforcement agencies. Go to Accra and you shall find out more people speak the Akan language fluently but are not Akans. The Akan language is spoken in Accra and other non Akan areas very fluently by people who try to pass as Asante and Akyem people. Go to Markola and see how much the Akan language is spoken more than the Ga language. Not even all people with Akan names are Akans. NKWANTABISA who worked with Rawlings and committed so many atrocious deeds is from the North. Don't make that stupid mistake. Go to the Burma Camp and other Military Barracks and find out what language is commonly used and investigate and find out if they are Akans. You can start from the Burma Camp.
