The school will open at 8:00 everyday, but kids go to school according to lessons they have. On some days, the first lesson is FREE. That aside, if the teacher for the first lesson falls sick or has to do some external training, the students DO NOT HAVE to go school that early.

Example: in the primary school that my kids attended, at Class 1, the first lesson of every Monday was FREE - no lessons, the classroom is also locked. So instead of going to school at 7:30 something, they would got at 8:40 something, as the second lesson would start at 9:15 .....
